Mission and Vision

The Mission

The mission of Jubilo Church Orlando is the same mission Jesus gave his followers: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

The Vision

The vision of Jubilo Church Orlando is create a community of authentic believers and to witness a city transformed by the life changing reality of the gospel, as people come to know Jesus as their lord and savior.

Core Beliefs

The following are the core beliefs of Jubilo Church Orlando based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.

Two years after its founding, the AG established 16 doctrines as a standard to reach, preach and teach its people. These doctrines became our Statement of Fundamental Truths. Four of these truths are considered our core beliefs due to the key role they play in reaching the lost and building the believer and the church both now and for the future.

Salvation

Jesus Christ came to reconcile us with God. He lived a life without sin and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our transgressions. God raised him from the dead and now, by grace, offers as a free gift eternal life to all who follow Christ, by faith, as their Lord and Savior. That is why salvation can be found in Christ alone.

Baptism of the Holy Spirit

Jesus promised His followers they would receive power from on high so that they would be His witnesses. We believe this truth is just as relevant today as our Fellowship continues to take the gospel message around the globe.

Devine Healing

Wherever Jesus went, He ministered with compassion and healed the sick. Christ’s example showed an interconnection with salvation as many believed following their healing.
Scriptures command believers to pray in faith and trust God for the outcome.

The Second Coming

With the world experiencing natural disasters, economic downturns and increasing uncertainties on many fronts, the doctrine of Christ’s Second Coming is more relevant than ever. Believers must rest in the certainty of the imminent return of our Lord and share this hope with others.

Our Senior/Founding Pastor

Luis De Jesus Ginestre is a highly respected and dynamic minister with a lifelong commitment to serving others. Born in Paterson, New Jersey to Puerto Rican parents Felix and Raquel, Luis's upbringing instilled in him a strong sense of faith and compassion.

Driven by his passion for the ministry, Luis pursued higher education to deepen his knowledge and understanding of the scriptures. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies and later completed a Master of Arts in Psychology and Counseling, equipping him with a unique blend of spiritual wisdom and psychological insight.

In 1980, Luis was ordained to the ministry by the esteemed Great Commission Church, under the guidance of his Pastor, Rev. Miguel Mena. This significant milestone marked the beginning of his journey as a spiritual leader and servant of God.

Recognizing his exceptional talents and dedication, Luis was invited to attend the Morris Cerullo School of Ministry in San Diego, California in 1981. Upon graduation, he was offered a full-time position as an interpreter, event Coordinator/Director, and associate Minister for Morris Cerullo, a widely respected Jewish American evangelist. This opportunity allowed Luis to travel extensively and witness firsthand the transformative power of faith and mentorship.

In 1985, Luis's path led him to Camuy, Puerto Rico, where he became an integral part of Ministerio Cristo Viene, led by the renowned evangelist Yiye Avila. Alongside a talented team, he played a pivotal role in establishing La Cadena del Milagro, a Spanish-language television network based in the enchanting Caribbean island.

Throughout the years, Luis's ministry expanded beyond international borders. In 1990, he relocated to Bayamon, Puerto Rico, and made guest appearances on local television and radio stations. His friend and Pastor, Rafael Torres Ortega, provided him with numerous opportunities to spread the message of hope and redemption.

In 1998, Luis made Orlando, Florida his home and embarked on a new phase of his ministry. He traveled extensively as a conference speaker, imparting wisdom and encouragement to diverse audiences. In 2009, he founded Jubilo Church Orlando, a vibrant community dedicated to worship, fellowship, and spiritual growth.

Driven by his compassionate heart, Luis established Hope on the Streets in 2012, a remarkable community outreach initiative aimed at assisting the homeless population in Orlando. This initiative provides not only essential resources such as hot meals, clothing, shoes, haircuts, and hygiene products but also a sense of dignity and hope to those in need.

In 2016, Luis received recognition of ordination by the Assemblies of God, Florida Multicultural District in Orlando. His unwavering commitment to ministry and his ability to connect with people from all walks of life have earned him respect and admiration among his peers and the wider community.

Luis's life took an unexpected turn in 2021 with the passing of his beloved wife, Claribel Hernandez Colon. Although deeply grieving, he found strength in his faith and the support of his church community.

In 2023, fueled by his personal experiences and desire to make a difference, Luis founded Light in the Darkness. This impactful community outreach focuses on supporting victims and survivors of domestic violence, offering education, encouragement, and practical assistance to help them reintegrate into society as empowered and resilient individuals.
